Darakuta is invested in developing opportunities for increasing positive interaction between the ranch and local communities, and actively runs a number of community outreach projects, including:

• Scholarships for local students
• Building material and furniture for local schools
• School trips to see the ranch and the hydropower plant for local schools
• Employment opportunities for individuals from surrounding communities
